My dad died years ago but I knew I had four half-siblings from his two other relationships – none of whom, as far as I knew, had any idea that I even existed! Very little was known about him because I was very young when unfortunately he passed away, so I took up your next option of the 'Connection Package' and have just received the truly amazing folder containing my father's family line dating from 1773.
